Searching through hundreds of directory listings is tedious. Theraglee Match Mode flips it around: you opt in, and compatible therapists reach out to you first.
How it works
Four steps, and you decide every one of them.
Turn it on.
Theraglee Match Mode is off by default. Nothing happens until you choose to turn it on from your dashboard or your account settings.
Answer a few questions.
A pseudonym to go by, your age range, your gender (or prefer not to answer), up to three topics you'd like help with (like stress, anxiety, or burnout), whether the sessions are for you, a couple or your family, whether you prefer in-person or video sessions, your insurance plan or how you plan to pay, and your zip code (therapists only ever see the first three digits). That's it — no essays, no deep personal history.
Therapists see your generalized and abbreviated information — not you.
Licensed therapists with a verified Theraglee listing see a pseudonymous profile: your pseudonym, age range, gender (you can prefer not to answer), the broad topic(s) you’d like to work on in therapy, whether the sessions are for you, a couple or your family, session preference (in-person, telehealth, or either), insurance plan, and the first three digits of your zip code so they know you're nearby. Only therapists whose profile matches those details see you. They never see your name, your photo, your full zip code, or your contact information.
You hear from the ones who fit.
Matched therapists send you a brief introductory message through Theraglee. You reply only if you're interested. Not interested? Just ignore it — they never learn who you are.

Theraglee Match Mode never turns itself on. When it is off, you are completely invisible to therapists, and they cannot reach out to you.
You're pseudonymous until you choose otherwise.
Your real name stays private until you reply to a therapist you want to talk to.
Turn it off anytime.
One tap from your dashboard, and your generalized information disappears from therapists' visibility immediately.
Therapists contact you only through Theraglee.
They can only message you here about your interest in therapy. You can block any therapist with one tap.

Does Theraglee Match Mode cost extra?
No. Theraglee Match Mode is part of the free membership, so it costs nothing to turn on. No card needed.
Will I get flooded with messages?
Probably not — therapists only reach out when your card genuinely fits their practice. And you can turn Theraglee Match Mode off anytime.
What if a therapist isn't a good fit?
Ignore the message. They never see your identity, and ignoring is completely normal here. You can also block them with one tap.
Is my information sold or used for ads?
Never. Information you share on Theraglee is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI. Read our privacy promise.
Is this therapy?
No. Theraglee's quizzes, journals, and tools are for self-discovery — they're not therapy, and they don't diagnose anything. Theraglee Match Mode introduces you to licensed therapists; the therapy happens with them.
