Recognizing Warning Signs

Helps you notice the shifts that tend to arrive before a harder stretch, like broken sleep, pulling away from people, or a mood that will not lift. It is for catching a pattern early, never for putting a label on yourself.

Wellbeing · Resilience · Stress · 7 items · once a day

The checklist

  • Persistent sadness or mood shifts — Have I felt low for two weeks or more?
  • Loss of motivation — Am I struggling with tasks that used to feel easy?
  • Changes in appetite or sleep — Am I sleeping too much or too little?
  • Increased stress or anxiety — Am I constantly overwhelmed?
  • Avoidance behavior — Am I withdrawing from friends, work, or activities?
  • Self-critical or negative thoughts — Do I frequently feel hopeless?
  • Physical symptoms — Have I noticed headaches, tension, or fatigue linked to stress?

How to use it

Run through it once a day, honestly and without scoring yourself. A checklist is a way of noticing, not a test: an item you cannot tick is information about the day, not a verdict on you. Over a few weeks the pattern of what gets ticked and what does not says more than any single pass.

With a free Theraglee account the checklist remembers each pass, so you can look back. Without one, you can still read it here and keep your own copy.
