The first seven days

  • Day 1Open the curtains this morning and say one word out loud for how the sky looks today.
  • Day 2Pick one small thing in your home that belongs to the last season and tuck it away for now.
  • Day 3Make yourself a warm drink and hold the mug for a moment before your first sip.
  • Day 4Text one person you like a short hello and tell them one thing you noticed about the weather today.
  • Day 5Take one slow breath as you wake and ask yourself which season your body feels like it is in today.
  • Day 6Check today's sunrise time and see how close it is to what you would have guessed.
  • Day 7Drape a soft throw over the arm of your couch so it is ready for the cooler fall evenings.

Further into the year

The to-dos keep changing as the year goes on. A few from later in this theme:

  • Day 30Rest early on a dark winter evening, without needing a reason.
  • Day 60Set one small intention for this season, something gentle you could carry for a while.
  • Day 120Find the hour of the day that feels best to you right now, and protect a little of it.
  • Day 240Plan one cool, calm moment for today if the summer heat is wearing on your mood.
  • Day 365Thank this season for one thing it has given you before it turns into the next.

How a challenge works

A Theraglee challenge is a theme with one small to-do for every day of a year. You choose how long yours runs, anywhere from a week to the full year, and each day you get the next to-do: something that takes a few minutes and fits inside an ordinary day. Tick it off when it is done. Nothing is scored and nothing is lost if you miss a day; the next to-do is simply waiting when you come back.

Challenges come with a free Theraglee account, which never asks for a card. Your progress stays private to you.
