The first seven days

  • Day 1Send a two-line message to someone you have not spoken to in a month, just to say hello.
  • Day 2Ask one person today a question about their life and listen to the whole answer.
  • Day 3Say good morning to a neighbor, a barista, or a coworker and use their name if you know it.
  • Day 4Reply to a message you have been putting off, even with just a few words.
  • Day 5Call a family member for five minutes with no agenda.
  • Day 6Tell someone about one small thing that happened to you today.
  • Day 7Invite someone for a walk, a coffee, or a video call sometime this week.

How a challenge works

A Theraglee challenge is a theme with one small to-do for every day of a year. You choose how long yours runs, anywhere from a week to the full year, and each day you get the next to-do: something that takes a few minutes and fits inside an ordinary day. Tick it off when it is done. Nothing is scored and nothing is lost if you miss a day; the next to-do is simply waiting when you come back.

Challenges come with a free Theraglee account, which never asks for a card. Your progress stays private to you.
